Unknown if the crash-on-wake bug is mitigated by the ULPS force-disable. I can simultaneously run AMD enhancement features that are mutually exclusive in the official release (though most of these are snake oil for modern titles). I have fully functional Adrenalin GUI installed where the official package would always 1603. Install these modules by running setup.exe after rebooting. Reboot before installing GUI (skip in wizard) and Hypr-RX / etc. Install package using setup.exe (administrator). Package also includes AMD cleanup utility. and overwriting but with way less frequency. Windows update keeps disobeying Group Policy etc. This OS is pretty farked over but wipe & reinstall is a pretty major undertaking. Solved (mostly) for me: Use RdN.ID (Amernime) driver package. Turns out it's the new drivers, I rolled back to 22.11.2 and they work flawlesly. I've tried everything I could image: disabled XMP/EXPO, tried to tweak BIOS settings, updated BIOS to the latest version, disabled power link state etc, switched cables, upgraded from B650 motherboard to X670 (not because of drivers, but because wanted an upgrade). Or if the drivers are corruped (there will like a yellow icon on the GPU) then you need to reinstall the drivers. To fix it you can restart, open device manger, see if the GPU is disabled, enable it then restart again, you should be fine. ![]() ![]() Generally, you can avoid this by not allowing your monitor to sleep ever. This is due to drivers crashing, or the GPU itself is being disabled in the device manager. Meaning if it goes to sleep it never wakes up. ![]() ![]() UPDATE (30.04.23) : The 23.4.3 drivers seem to fix the issue.Īfter the latest drivers my GPU (MSI RX 6650 XT Gaming X) started to crash on monitor sleep. ![]()
